課程概述

Russian II is a year-long course for students who have studied Russian for one year and would like to continue their studies and work more on their proficiency.
The main aim of the first semester is to quickly review material of the previous year and work on more unfamiliar topics, grammar, and vocabulary.

Methods of instruction are focused on the development of functional competence in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Russian.
Every topic is built around forming communicative skills and includes new vocabulary, new grammar, listening, speaking, and writing exercises. Also, students will learn more about Russian daily culture and will know some useful idiomatic expressions and modern slang.

Language of instructions: ENG/RU 

課程目標
The main goal of the course is to train students how to use Russian for daily conversations.

It's a complex course focused on the complex development of language skills (speaking, reading, writing, listening) and knowledge ( new vocabulary, grammar, and structures).

During the course, students will learn more about modern Russian culture, etiquette, idioms, etc. 
課程要求
1) Students have to complete Russian (I) course to be able to understand the course.

2 Class Regulation Policy:
- Try to avoid missing classes. If you have a chance to miss the class / be late / leave early, please, send a short notification to Professor by e-mail (russianclass.ntu@gmail.com);
- Complete and upload all the assignments on time;
- Participate in the class actively: join the conversation, interact with a professor and classmates, ask questions, etc. It could help you to build confidence in language usage.
- Ask questions: if you don't understand something, miss something, or feel so, please, ask the question. All questions are always welcome!

Each class required about 1 hour of home prep (it can vary depending on the topic and type of exercises).
